The dynamic duo and their 2 assistants pride themselves on offering “Mortgages with a Personal Touch!” that many other lenders seem to leave out; that’s why they have both been named Five Star Mortgage Professionals for multiple years by Charlotte Magazine. Having backgrounds in mortgage operations allows this team to be better mortgage consultants by having the knowledge and capability to walk their clients step by step to a smooth closing! They have a combined 40 of years in the mortgage industry. They want people to know they are not just a loan number! They are people who have families and goals and dreams!
Kim graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1991. She has more than 20 years as an experienced Mortgage Banker, with a previous background in mortgage processing, underwriting, and management. She understands that open communication is the key to success closing celebrations. Kim’s expertise in strategic financial planning, dedication to client satisfaction, and proven results in providing the best mortgage solutions to clients is her passion. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with home buyers, home owners, real estate agents, financial planners and builders. Kim & her husband Don have 2 kids; Brittany who is 14 and Alex who is 11.
Jenny Stoner has been a resident of Charlotte, NC for almost 20 years. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, she started in the Mortgage Business as a processor in 1997 and with the exception of a few years working in finance for her church, she has been in the business ever since. Jenny loves providing her customers with an exceptional mortgage experience, which is evident because she get most of her business from the referrals of her past clients and friends. Jenny & Mark have been married for 13 years and have one son, Nathan, who is 10 years old.
Bethany is the Stoner Venable Team’s assistant responsible for all things Home Scouting! While Bethany received her degree in Internet Technology with a focus in Web Design, she has been very versatile in her career, having worked in Human Resources, Commercial and Residential real estate, in addition to various marketing roles. When asked what she loves doing or why she’s in a particular role; her response is always people driven. Her heart is aimed towards supporting people and making sure they feel cared for, a role she’s found at every seat she’s occupied. She aims to make every client and agent we serve alongside feel they are valued, utilizing Home Scouting to its full capacity. Bethany helps familiarize our clients with the features of Home Scouting as well as answer any questions clients may have about the online search tool or mobile app. Bethany also helps our Home Scouting agents grow their business by educating and supporting them as they use Home Scouting to help their clients. Bethany’s nurturing and friendly personality cause our clients to love her right away! Bethany lives in Indian Trail with her husband AJ, and their dog; Genesis Eden. (Their “fur baby”).
Kelly graduated from Iowa State University with a Finance degree in 2000. She is the Stoner Venable Team’s assistant responsible for getting our clients to a smooth and successful closing!
Kelly is our paperwork “Goddess” and manages the part of the loan process starting from the contract signing all the way through to closing. She works closely with our clients, agents, operations team & attorneys to help ensure a smooth and on time closing.
Kelly has worked 12 years in the mortgage industry including 7 years of underwriting experience and attention to detail make her perfect for this role! Her goal is to provide exceptional customer service, and make sure our clients are having an amazing experience from the time they sign their contract on a new home until they get their keys.
While originally hailing from Iowa, Kelly & her husband, Matt, have lived in Charlotte for the past 4 years (and do NOT miss the Midwest winters).
